I get why people are against many of these money hungry folks in the church. I do have a question though. Who's supposed to pay the mortgage or rent of the church? Who's supposed to finance all the activities, drives, and outreach from the churches? Most folks hold onto one scripture, but miss the fact that the pastor is supposed to live on the resources of the church if it's his life mission. The church is supposed to be held together by it's members. Yes, there are tons of super rich thieves out there, but the fact remains that if you receive spiritual food from the fellowship, the pastor and other members of the congregation should be receiving from your bounty. Why? Because that is your contribution to GOD for his goodness to you. What the pastor does with the money overall isn't your concern, because you're not giving to them but to GOD IF you receive from this fellowship. It's GOD's business to do an audit on the church.
