Professor Roger Seheult, MD discusses the AstraZeneca and Oxford DNA COVID-19 Vaccine: How it works, and what we know about the safety, efficacy, and side effects at this time.
Dr. Seheult illustrates the differences and similarities between the AstraZeneca / Oxford vaccine candidate and those from Moderna and Pfizer / BioNTech.
The complete data from each of these SARS CoV 2 vaccine trials have not been released nor peer-reviewed at this time, and none of the COVID 19 vaccines have received FDA authorization to date.
Dr. Sheult explains some of the potential advantages of the AstraZeneca Oxford vaccine candidate including a lower cost and that it only requires regular refrigeration. (This video was recorded on November 24, 2020).
Roger Seheult, MD is the co-founder and lead professor at
He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Disease, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine and an Associate Professor at the University of California, Riverside School of Medicine.

@Terry Winter Scientists spend their lifetime in Research for betterment of the People , Especially in Infectious diseases and Chronic illnesses. Medical science has made great strides in the last seventy years. But there is someone who may not agree with the above 𝗕𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗿𝘂𝗽𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀. :. The corrupt governments of the world rushed to give trillions to The Big Pharma Gods to save them from a disease with a 99.98% survival rate. The unwarranted government responses (lockdowns and closing of small businesses) pushed close to 1 billion people, world wide into extreme poverty (according to the latest UN report.) No amount of vaccines can save the lives of malnourished and poverty stricken people.

@Truth Teller it.can only be a treatment cause there is no cure for virus. That's why people get flu shot every year. A lot of these cases are flu and pneumonia. It looks like the corona virus have cured the flu virus. I am not trying to make light of this virus but the stress they have placed on the public with the shut downs are not warranted. I s÷ nothing wrong with masks. But how are they shutting down only for certain places. You still go to a lot of places and exposed to a lot of people. I believe we all will be exposed and I believe lots of people had it and didn't know it.

Dr. Seheult, I liked your cautious statement at 4:07 about the possibility of the DNA to enter the host genome ("according to scientists at AstraZeneca, it does not get incorporated into the host genome"). The more I read about adenovirus-based viral vector vaccines, the more I encounter the issue precisely of the viral DNA integrating into the host DNA and disrupting normal cell function. I was skeptical of the mRNA vaccines at first, but it seems that these first generation vaccines offer us the choice between potential autoimmunity and potential cancers down the road. BTW, I am NOT an antivaxxer, I vaccinate my children, believe in the usefulness of vaccination for public health, and am ready to take a well-tested vaccine. I do however worry when the information we receive is carefully photoshopped, although I understand the public health needs of governments to tackle the pandemic fast and without lockdowns. :(

Before +mRNA is injected in people, it should be determined the exact amino acid sequence that would result from a ribosomal frameshift, because there has been observed in the genomes of SARs covid 2 viruses, such frameshift near or in the mRNA region that encodes the fusion peptides. Some of the most potent venoms are peptides, e.g. peptides from cone snail. What if the peptides resulting from ribosomal frameshift inside human cells, are poisonous?

This new technology is very intriguing and as we go through this pandemic I would like to see looking down the horizon how this could affect the treatment of the HIV virus and the millions that it will kill every year. The concerns of the human race of overpopulation starvation should not be the basis of complacency and acceptance for such a life taker. The solution to these problems are not in the cure but it is the sanctity of life that should be the driving force and the solution to the social shortcomings in the control of a population should be considered part of the antidote.

This and other videos in your series is really excellent, many thanks. One error however was in relation to approval of the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine in the UK. Brexit was NOT a necessary factor in the swift approval of the AstraZeneca COVID 19 vaccine. Here follows a useful summary of the situation from the Institute for Government* "... the chief executive of the MHRA** swiftly pointed out, Mr Hancock*** was wrong to say that the UK could approve the vaccine early because it was no longer subject to EU rules. The MHRA’s decision was taken in accordance with the relevant EU legislation, which allows member states to grant temporary authorisation for a medicinal product in response to the spread of infectious diseases (among others). [1] This legislation still applies to the UK until the end of the transition period. Any EU member state could have used the same provision of the legislation to approve the vaccine. They decided not to for political and technical reasons, not legal ones."
*The Institute for Government is a leading UK think tank.
**The MHRA is the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency. Here its Chief Executive Dr June Raine explains how the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine received what seemed to be such rapid approval:
***Matt Hancock is Secretary of State for Health and Social Care here in the UK. He is Pro-Brexit and 'talks up' any potential benefit of Brexit. In this case he was in error.

Qantas are making it mandatory to have the vaccine to board their aircraft. We must boycott both Qantas and any Australian products to implement a economic impact upon the Australian economy.

Here’s a theory. Lets rush testing, pass it on a low percentage effectiveness and wash away negative results, oh like Prozac, and then we can mass test it on the public and get paid for it while, the real virus rampages through society anyway. If you can’t build natural immunity you can’t fool the body into fighting a virus as you can’t guarantee what else it’s going to fight that may be helping naturally but hey, that’s to much common sense for one day. Rushing this may give hope but I fear the outcome may be a negative one in the long term, other than for financial gain. If the virus is Sero Converting you, which is a life change, what are they really putting in your body.

There is no modified chimp DNA in ANY of the vaccines. Stop falling so hard for the FUD of the professional disinformers who want as many as possible people to die from COVID19.

So , producing vaccines, never tried on humans, without the animal testing, for a virus that if you are under 70 has a 99. 5- 99.995 survival rate makes sense. Now we are being told this does not provide immunity, but supposedly reduces symptoms, and no one questions how this is quantified in a virus that can cause zero symptoms in many people. Am I the only one not on board with this

@Marco so you think a study on mice published in 2020 and very short term, makes this vaccine safe. Animal testing for a vaccine can’t be just inject and note there is a spike. I’m sorry but I do think the true believers like you should take it but it is not unreasonable for the rest of us to be concerned. Autoimmune diseases and other side effects may not show up for years. You go ahead but making it mandatory is not rational

    • Marco

      Ամիս առաջ

@Millie Me I gave you a title of a paper that discusses animal studies that were done on this specific mRNA vaccine, notably studies you claimed had not been done. And then there's another title for you to google: "mRNA vaccines against H10N8 and H7N9 influenza viruses of pandemic potential are immunogenic and well tolerated in healthy adults in phase 1 randomized clinical trials" which is but one of many examples of prior trials in humans on mRNA vaccines If "many experts" are so afraid of mRNA supposedly taking over the cells' ribosomes, they should be extremely scared of any virus, considering their whole replication relies on the virus not just taking over the ribosomes, but a lot more of our cells' machinery. You're just trying to spread FUD. Feel free to be hesitant, but don't do so based on falsehoods.

      Ամիս առաջ

@Marco There are no links and it would be very difficult for you to have studies on vaccines that have never been tried on humans. In order for this to work, the mRNA has to enter the human body and take over the ribosomes No one knows the long term consequences of this and many experts admit it may lead to auto immune disorders or other unknown problems. No one rational denies this vaccine has been rushed. You go ahead and take it if you believe in it, but people trying to make this mandatory are not working for the good of Canadians

    • Marco

      Ամիս առաջ

@Millie Me I gave links, don't know why you cannot see them. Otherwise look for "A prefusion SARS-CoV-2 spike RNA vaccine is highly immunogenic and prevents lung infection in non-human primates". Anyone who understands development of vaccines knows they take so long because companies take small steps. They take such small steps because they must be sure their product will be taken up in sufficient numbers to make money. Also, it often takes a long time to arrange all the clinical trials, especially when the disease in question is not very prevalent in the country where the tests are planned. This is quite different. Over 20,000 people receiving a vaccine in a phase III trial, that's enormous. Usually it takes years to arrange so many clinical trials. But we are now in a situation where it is necessary to do it fast AND where lots of people are willing to volunteer. THAT is why it is going much faster. Oh, and if I were to work for the vaccine company...I'd be a real expert in the field, far more than you will ever be.

@Marco What paper. There is nothing here. How could a vaccine be produced in 8 months, and have all the testing done, when anyone who understands this at all knows it should take about ten years. Are you working for the vaccine company. These vaccine trials had not even been presented by most companies for peer review up until a few weeks ago. You are no expert. Goodbye

Appears that the AstraZeneca is a bit more invasive ( relative to that of the Moderna vaccine ) as it requires a DNA piece to enter the nucleus which houses your genome. Of course with Moderna - Pfizer it is only the RNA section which enters the cytoplasm and not the nucleus of the cell. In general many view ( perhaps with prejudice ) the entry of foreign DNA into the human cell nucleus as potentially dangerous ( despite what AstraZeneca says )

This Pandemic is a manufactured Falsity. There has been discovered a Protocol that will reduce deaths to close to zero percent.
This Protocol has been published by an accredited Medical School. The protocol is based on scientifically conducted double blind studies from around the world. The Eastern Virginia Medical School (EVMS). Here is the link to the study:
Our corrupt leaders are hiding the truth from us to keep us afraid and controllable... ALL OF THE SHUTDOWNS AROUND THE WORLD ARE NOT NEEDED. THEY ARE BEING INSTIGATED BY THE POWERS IN CONTROL TO GAIN MORE CONTROL OVER US AND DESTROY OUR CONSTITUTIONAL REPUBLIC, AND OUR ABILITY TO SUSTAIN OURSELVES WITHOUT THEIR FIAT MONEY. If the protocol is used, it makes the COVID no more dangerous than the common FLU. Follow the link above and download the protocol. It give Treatment recommendation that will protect us, and if we have symptoms, it provides successful treatment modalities. So make sure you doctor treats you properly, or get a good doctor that will listen to you. They are out there.
    Good Luck and Good Health.
